Second Act Entrepreneurs

This year we got to meet the Push Girls

The holidays are a perfect time for bestowing on a loved one a beautiful and stylish HDS MEDALLION® Carryall bag. This year we were happy to announce the launch of our Premier Collection that features hip and stylish walker, power chair and wheelchair bags one can use as a shoulder bag or attach to almost every medical mobility device.

While gearing up for the holiday season we were pleased to find ourselves mentioned in a Forbes blog focusing on companies that were started by people after they turned 50. The second act entrepreneur’s blog included gift ideas from several businesses and made mention of the HDS MEDALLION® history as well as the fact a portion of some sales goes to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. And they are right – our bags are great presents!

You can read the blog here.

2012 has been an exciting time for HDS as we traveled to Houston, New Jersey and San Jose to attend the Abilities Expo, where we met several courageous women from the hit show Push Girls. Carol recently spent two days with one of the Push Girls in New York City. Her observations of the world of a wheelchair user visiting the city through the eyes of an able bodied person will be featured in an upcoming HDS blog series. We think you’ll find these blogs eye-opening.

Visit the HDS MEDALLION® site today to find fashionable carryall bags that will be treasured by women of all ages.
