Joining forces with other organizations dedicated to assisting the disabled is very important to HDS MEDALLION®. We are very proud to announce our new agreement with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation in which our designer carryall bags will be displayed on their site’s store with a link to our site. For every designated bag sold, $7.00 will be donated to the Foundation in their search for cures for spinal cord injuries. Christopher Reeve, the actor best known for his role as Clark Kent in the original Superman movie, was paralyzed in 1995 during an equestrian competition and died at the young age of 52 due to heart failure. He and his wife, Dana, established the foundation which is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and to improving quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information, and advocacy.

Specific carryall bags from the HDS MEDALLION® collection will be a part of the program including Poppy Punch Caribbean Blue, Espresso Flower Shower and Pretty Paisley Bright Blue. In addition to these three stylish power chair bags, HDS MEDALLION® is also creating two brand new bags for wheelchairs and thick armed power chairs that will be included in the Reeve program bringing the total number of HDS MEDALLION Distinctive Carryall Bags that generate donations to five. Just look for the flame logo under those bags that will generate a donation to the foundation.
